Editorial context
Working with a provider in Austin – what matters
When appointing a rental property manager in Austin, owners should first check whether the scope of service matches their property. A single rental house may require different communication arrangements from a multifamily building or a larger portfolio. Bay Property Management Group Austin lists all three categories. An initial discussion should therefore establish which responsibilities it will assume for the specific property and who will be the designated contact.
For leasing and tenant selection, useful comparison points include a clear approach to rental pricing, vacancy marketing, and a documented screening process. The website emphasizes local market knowledge and tenant screening. Prospective clients should ask how these services are implemented in practice. Published performance figures should also be checked to establish whether they cover Austin or the wider company.
For ongoing management, repair approvals, estimates, and records of completed work deserve particular attention. Owners considering the advertised emergency maintenance service should ask how emergencies are distinguished from routine requests and what spending approval limits apply. It is also worth establishing exactly what information the monthly financial reports and owner portal provide.
Before signing, owners should obtain a written breakdown of fees, included services, possible additional charges, and the tenant placement warranty conditions. Legal questions about leases or specific disputes should be addressed separately with an appropriate professional; these points provide general guidance only.

I had a fantastic experience working with my realtor, McKenzie. From the very beginning, she was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and always eager to help. She made the entire home search process smooth and stress-free by answering my questions quickly, providing great guidance, and making sure I found the right home for my needs. I also want to recognize the property management company for being organized, responsive, and helpful throughout the process. Their professionalism and communication made the transition into my new home easy and seamless. I highly recommend McKenzie to anyone looking to buy or rent a home. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with her again in the future. Thank you for making this such a positive experience!
We recently rented a house with Bay Property Management and are so thankful we did! Not only is the house gorgeous and spacious, but our property manager, Alma Ramirez, has been so helpful with all our requests. She always gets back to me super fast and even checks in later to make sure any issues are resolved (like making sure things are working properly after repairs!) We rented a home in a neighborhood with pool access, but did not receive the pool key at move in. Alma overnighted a pool key so we were able to enjoy the pool for Labor Day weekend! Thank you for making this move in so easy!
We’ve had a fantastic experience with Bay Management Group managing our three rental units in Austin. Maddie is absolutely exceptional. She handles maintenance quickly and efficiently, and her responsiveness is unmatched. Anytime an issue comes up, she communicates clearly and makes sure it’s resolved properly — which gives us real peace of mind as owners. Professional, reliable, and easy to work with. We highly recommend Bay Management Group — and especially Maddie!
signed with BMG to lease a property. started off on the wrong foot with their " inspector " green flagging repairs we knew needed estimates for as the property owner and that were disclosed to Sebastian Soto the first and only non handyman employee from the company to be at the house. Our assigned manager Nadia sent estimates for approval of " make ready " repairs we approved work that was supposed to be completed 6-11. part of the work was " nearing completion " according to Nadia on 6-12 and sent estimates for mowing and maid/ cleaning As if property was ready to list at that point. I emailed her asking if she knew the items their inspector green flagged needed estimates As well as the property needing an a/c still she said she did not know. I proceeded to ask for photos of the rest of the make ready repairs that had been paid for. she had sent pictures of one repair on the make ready
