Editorial context
Working with a provider in Melbourne – what matters
When choosing a real estate agent in Melbourne, first establish the task involved: letting an apartment, managing it on an ongoing basis or providing another agency service. For Melcorp, the supplied reviews particularly concern rental applications, inspections and support during existing tenancies. They do not establish a complete service catalogue, however. Prospective clients should therefore confirm the specific scope of an engagement in advance.
For owners, clear responsibilities and transparent procedures matter. Useful questions cover tenant selection, property presentation and updates about upcoming work. For property management, it is also worth discussing how maintenance needs are reported, who obtains quotations, when approval is required and how costs are recorded. Fees and potential additional charges should be set out in writing and broken down by service.
Prospective tenants can ask about the documents required for an application, inspection arrangements and their designated contacts. During a tenancy, accessible contacts and clear reporting channels for maintenance or repairs are important.
Because the supplied review selection describes both prompt support and delayed information, asking about typical response times and the process for unresolved concerns is worthwhile. Reviews provide insight into individual experiences but do not replace checking the current service offering. Experience with the relevant suburb and property type should also be confirmed directly; a reference to the CBD in one review does not establish comprehensive geographical coverage.

I had the pleasure of being a tenant with Melcorp Real Estate for a year, with my property managed by Senior Property Manager, Veronica Sun, and I can honestly say that I was extremely satisfied with her support throughout my entire tenancy. Veronica was incredibly reliable, responsive, and professional. Any maintenance requests I had were handled quickly and smoothly, which made the whole leasing experience feel stress-free. There are very few property managers who provide this level of consistency, communication, and reassurance. Having Veronica as my property manager genuinely gave me peace of mind. If circumstances had allowed, I would have happily continued leasing through Melcorp under her management. The quality of service she provides really makes a difference. Even when I was applying for my next apartment, Veronica was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to provide mu
Thanks to Jordan Nunns’ ongoing and generous support, I was able to successfully complete my first rental application. As it was my first time signing a rental lease, I wasn’t very familiar with the process, but Jordan was always kind, quick to respond, and incredibly helpful. He was also very kind and thorough during the apartment inspection, and answered all of my questions in detail. If I ever need to find a new place again, I would definitely want to ask for his help, and I’d also be very happy to recommend him to people I know. Thank you again for his excellent support.
I had a great experience with this property agency. Calvin and Wishno are both friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout the process. They were always responsive and willing to answer my questions, which made everything much easier. I believe this agency has been established for a long time and has extensive knowledge of the CBD property market. Their expertise gave me confidence and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. I'm very happy with their service and would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable property agency.
Alright, so I really didn't want to have to make this post but I am very unimpressed and believe I deserve an apology. Unfortunately I can't respond to replies on my own reviews. In my recent post about Jarryd's poor professional experience, I heard found out that Melcorp Real Estate has a bad investigation process. I have evidence of dates and a solid email trail that showed Jarryd was slow at responding and did not provide me with the information I requested even though he promised them. Like I said, he replied the fastest when I said I no longer required his service. I called him on Tuesday 28th JUL and requested some information which he agreed over the phone. He replied me with 1 of the things I asked for the same afternoon in an email with other sales jargon. I requested the information for the remaining items a few hours later and had waited over 48 hours, still no response. I the
I genuinely wish there was an option to give more than 5 stars—because this team absolutely deserves it. Melcorp is, without a doubt, the best property management company in the city. The building is exceptionally well managed, and the amenities are consistently maintained to a high standard all year round, which gives both owners and tenants great peace of mind. A special thank you to Deli, who has been nothing short of outstanding. She goes above and beyond in every aspect of her role. From securing quality tenants and presenting my property beautifully, to ensuring any tenant concerns are addressed promptly and professionally—her attention to detail is unmatched. What truly sets Deli apart is her communication and integrity. She always keeps me informed before proceeding with any repairs, and her ability to coordinate with trusted tradespeople makes the entire process seamless and str

Services in this field explained
A valuation estimates the price a property can achieve on the market, based on location, condition, size, fittings and comparable sales.
What does a valuation cost? Many agents offer an initial estimate free of charge. A formal market value report by a certified surveyor is paid; the fee depends on the property and effort.
When you sell, an agent handles valuation, exposé, viewings, negotiation and the notary appointment.
Who pays the agent's commission? When flats and single-family houses are sold to consumers, the commission is generally split between seller and buyer (§ 656c German Civil Code).
When letting, an agent takes care of listing, viewings, tenant selection and the tenancy agreement.
Who pays the agent when letting? Since 2015 the “orderer pays” principle applies to residential lettings: usually the landlord pays when they hired the agent.
