Editorial context

Working with a provider in Plano – what matters

When selecting a property manager in Plano, owners should first establish whether their property fits the provider’s service area and management scope. ALNA Management lists Dallas and the surrounding areas, along with single-family homes and apartments. Property-specific confirmation is therefore useful to establish which services are available at a particular location. Its stated experience with Section 8 housing offers another topic for discussion where such a tenancy is planned.

For marketing and tenant selection, prospective clients should ask about the scope of market analysis, screening criteria and the process leading up to handover. Management fees, potential additional charges, repair authorization thresholds and expense documentation also deserve attention. The supplied website text does not explain these details.

Because ALNA Management lists maintenance and move-in and move-out inspections, responsibilities, reporting channels and urgent repair procedures should be discussed before signing a contract. Written condition reports and clear communication help owners track a property’s condition and outstanding work. For the owner portal, useful questions include which reports are available and how often they are updated.

The overall Google rating should be considered alongside individual reviews. The supplied selection contains differing experiences and does not necessarily represent all customer opinions. It can prompt specific questions about responsiveness and maintenance, but it does not replace reviewing the proposed contract and service scope. This is general guidance, not legal advice.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! We signed our lease again because they kept our rent the same but I regret it! They do get some things done that you ask them but THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE! SHAWN WORKS THERE WHEN U GET THE HOME. But than randomly quits! THEY HAVE NO ONE WORKING IN MAINTENANCE BUT TELL YOU TO CALL MAINTENANCE! Our front door has been broken for a week and they haven’t sent no one even when we told them the contractor never showed up. Again getting you approved and move into the home but once your in no one answers, people randomly don’t work there no more THE OWNER of the company is a millionaire that lives in upper north Dallas and it’s a shame this is how they run business

My family had a ridiculous experience with this company. We did a blind move from California—we knew the risks; however, we did not expect such unprofessionalism from a property management company. Where to start? The first property manager we worked with was named Shawn. She was very difficult to get ahold of which was heavily inconvenient given the fact we were driving from California to Texas and needed a line of communication for when we arrived. I do have to say, Bill, Bilal, & Jon all conducted themselves very well, my issues are not necessarily with them. When we arrived the day before July 4th, we had not been given the code to enter the property and we had to wait an hour and a half in the heat with children and a dog to finally get a response! When we entered, it was horrifying. Roaches, cigarette butts, dead bugs and ants everywhere, mold, dirt, leftover items from the prev

Terrible company, I signed a 12 month lease and the whole 12 months consisted of me submitting maintenance requests. Now they are refusing my deposit and provided me with a hand written invoice of what the deposit was used for. They’re a terrible management company all around, my house was infested with rats the last 8 months of my lease and they did nothing about it. They only fix their issues temporarily because they are too cheap to fix them permanently I will never rent from them again and I will pray for whomever decides to in the future. Phay is also a joke and will do anything to keep your money. I will be pursuing small claims court for the remainder of my deposit

Bill was amazing at helping us get approved for Our home. He was responsive, informative and I am definitely enjoying the experience so far!

Getting them to fix something is like pulling teeth. Stress kills but they literally don’t care about the amount of stress that comes with communicating with these people. Only rent from them if you are willing to handle your own repairs.
