Editorial context
Working with a provider in Lisboa – what matters
When choosing a property manager in Lisbon, the first step is to establish what type of management is required. Managing holiday rentals involves different operational tasks from managing long-term tenancies or shared building matters. WHome primarily describes services for holiday apartments and booking platforms. Any broader, conventional property management responsibilities should therefore be confirmed directly.
Owners should seek a clear definition of the service scope: which tasks are included in the agreed fee, which incur additional charges, and which expenses require prior approval? For the repairs, equipment changes and furniture replacements mentioned by WHome, spending limits and documentation deserve particular attention. The scope and presentation of booking and earnings information should also be clarified before signing a contract.
For guest-focused management, availability, property access, cleaning and complaint handling are important considerations. Owners should ask about the procedures and responsibilities behind the advertised round-the-clock support, including how access problems, hygiene issues and refund requests are handled.
Marketing and pricing arrangements should reflect the owner’s objectives, any periods reserved for personal use, and the agreed process for price changes. The supplied guest reviews offer insight into individual stays, but do not replace an examination of owner statements or contractual terms. Before appointing a manager, owners should also obtain appropriate professional guidance on the requirements applicable to the intended use of their particular property. Selected reviews on Google
The supplied Google data shows a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 115 reviews. In the provided selection, communication, helpful support and the condition of the apartments receive repeated praise. Several comments mention cleanliness positively, including one otherwise critical review. The negative excerpts concern different issues: one guest reports a substantial ant infestation, an early departure and a refund being sought at the time of writing. Another describes difficulty opening the entrance gate. Both critical texts are incomplete, so further circumstances and any final resolution are not available. This is a selection of guest reviews, not a comprehensive analysis of all feedback or a reliable assessment of services provided to owners.
Absolute nightmare. My husband used airbnb to book 2 night stay in Lisbon while we were returning from winter stay in Albufeira. The apartment turned to be under management of this company. We discovered in about an hour of staying there that there is a huge infestation by small ants. At first we were stupid enough not to take pictures and just try to deal with the problem, thinking that ants in the kitchen may be dealt with. But shortly after we found them even crawling on our arms and on the bed in a bedroom where under normal circumstances you do not expect to find ants. Therefore we left the apartment, went to the hotel and expected the refund as we did not spend more than 3 hours in the apartment. I am writing it the next day. Instead of enjoying our last day in Lisbon we are staying in the hotel, submitting various pieces of information to the airbnb, because the host of the apartm

I stayed with WHome at their Cais do Sodre apartment in Lisbon and had a fantastic time. The apartment was clean and tidy, and my host was incredibly helpful, promptly answering any questions I had!
We had a great experience in Lisbon. Communication was great and the property was lovely. Would definitely recommend to anyone
Writing this here as it seems impossible to say anything negative about this outfit on Booking.com if you have had the misfortune of staying in one of the properties they manage. The Lisbon apartment we stayed in was clean, and generally well decorated. The kitchen was well equipped with new kitchen appliances. It is located within a reasonable walking distance to some interesting neighbourhoods, green spaces and shops. There are bus/tram stops nearby, but it is a bit of a walk to the nearest metro station. The price was fair for the accommodation on offer. We did however experience some issues which spoilt our stay. The night we arrived we eventually discovered the ‘knack’ for operating the lock for the external gate which allows access to the entrance door. We were struggling for some time before someone from across the street kindly came over and helped us. The name of WiFi network
