Editorial context
Working with a provider in Miami Beach – what matters
When choosing a property manager in Miami Beach, owners should first define the responsibilities they want to delegate. Managing an individual rental unit involves different arrangements from managing an entire building or condominium association. Because the supplied sources do not establish Trident’s contractual service scope, a proposal should explicitly identify the property types covered and the tasks included.
Communication is an important point to assess. The selected reviews describe contrasting experiences in this area. Before appointing a manager, prospective clients should ask about designated contacts, backup arrangements, reporting channels, and target response times. Routine administrative requests should be distinguished from urgent maintenance issues. Procedures for progress updates and records of completed work should also be clear.
The air-conditioning leak mentioned in one review makes maintenance coordination another relevant consideration. Useful questions concern how damage reports are logged, how qualified contractors are selected, who authorizes expenditure, and how owners and residents receive updates. For moisture or suspected mold issues, owners should clarify how a professional assessment would be arranged.
Since the reviews also mention purchase assistance and rental placement, prospective clients should establish whether these activities are separate from ongoing management. Any additional services, fees, and responsibilities should be identifiable in the proposal. Contract duration, termination terms, reporting arrangements, and extra charges are also useful comparison points when assessing providers. These considerations are general guidance, not legal advice.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Our bedroom has an AC wall unit on our closet wall, it had a water leak and damaged some of our clothes. We had the maintenance guy come in to check it out. The wall had to be torn down. We discovered mold in our unit while living with our 6-month-old baby. At the time, we had no way of knowing whether it was safe or not, so we had to treat it seriously. Instead of responding with urgency, management was dismissive and slow to act. I called and left a voicemail explaining the situation and asking for a call back due to the health concern. That call was never returned. Communication came later via email, which didn’t match the urgency of the situation. The timeline was also concerning—this was reported on a Monday, testing didn’t happen until Tuesday afternoon, and we didn’t receive results until Thursday. During that entire period, we were left in limb
MJ was incredibly helpful, responsive, and professional throughout the entire process. They handled every request promptly and communicated clearly every step of the way. Their attention to detail and willingness to help made everything much easier. I truly appreciate the excellent service and would highly recommend MJ to anyone looking for a reliable property manager.
Working with Trident has been a breeze. They’re very responsive and easy to work with. Communication is top-notch and They treat their vendors with patients and professionalism too. Highly recommend!! Also Mary Joy is the sweetest and always so attentive!!!
THIS COMPANY IS TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS Absolutely the worst of the worst. If I could leave them negative stars I would. There's an old sicilian saying "A rotting fish starts with the head" This is exactly the case. Jason, the company CEO, is ineffectual never responds It trickles down to the staff. Therese and Judith, who manage the buildings never respond to emails. Heck I had sent them via email some requests and although there is a 48 business hour window to respond they never did. 48 hours turned into 72 and eventually into a week. And still nothing. If you call them they only have AI chatbots responding. Never there ever answers the phone. Not one human being. Someone in these reviews mentioned their (Trident's) real estate agent some guy named Alfredo Porto. Absolute disaster. I hired him and my place took months longer to rent because of his bumbling. Totally incompetent. W
Working with George and the Trident team on a home purchase was fantastic. Their efficiency, responsiveness, and deep knowledge especially navigating Miami's condo market made our collaboration seamless from start to finish. As the buyer’s agents, they did a spectacular job keeping everything on track for a smooth closing. Highly recommend George and the Trident team. True professionals who get it done right!
