Editorial context
Working with a provider in Vancouver – what matters
When choosing a real estate agent in Vancouver, the first step is to establish whether their experience matches the intended purchase or sale. For this provider, the supplied reviews describe residential transactions in Vancouver and North Vancouver. Prospective clients can therefore ask specifically about experience in the relevant neighbourhood, with the property type concerned, and with comparable transactions. Individual client accounts do not replace current confirmation of the areas served.
Buyers benefit from a structured initial discussion covering budget, location, housing needs, and firm exclusions. Since the reviews mention viewings and attention to personal preferences, useful questions include how properties are shortlisted and how viewings are prepared. First-time buyers should also clarify how each stage will be explained and who will be available to answer questions.
Sellers should ask which comparable listings support a price estimate and what a proposed sales plan includes. Responsibilities, feedback after viewings, fees, and contractual terms should be clarified before engaging an agent. Anyone selling and buying at the same time should also discuss how the two processes would be coordinated.
The overall Google rating can provide additional context. However, the supplied reviews are only a selection and cannot guarantee a particular experience or sales outcome. As the website extract contains no service details, direct confirmation of the current offering is particularly important.

I wanted to take some time to publicly mention how good Adam Chahl and his team are. My wife and I spent approximately a year looking for houses to buy in North Vancouver, we had vague ideas of what we wanted and stronger ideas of what we didn't. Adam came to multiple open houses across the shore for a year and we were never pressured by him to make a decision we weren't comfortable with. He has a very reasonable and professional demeanor and never once tried to pressure us. When it came to selling our house in east van he was professional and knowledgeable, we reviewed comparable listings and created a sales plan that worked for us and our busy family. We sold our house for exactly what we he had estimated. When it came to buying in North Vancouver he was exceptional in dealing with an adversarial and unprofessional realtor and we negotiated for decent price reductions. All in all a gre
I’ve referred a few clients/family members to Adam over the years for help in Vancouver, and they’ve always had great things to say about him and his team. One thing that’s really important to me when referring clients out is knowing they’ll be taken care of with the same level of care, communication, and honesty that I try to provide myself. Adam has always gone above and beyond, and I genuinely appreciate how well he’s looked after the people I’ve sent his way. Thank you as always Adam & team!
I recently sold my apartment with the help of Adam, and the experience was truly exceptional. He was professional, highly responsive, and kept me well-informed at every stage, ensuring the entire process was smooth and seamless. I would gladly work with him again and highly recommend his services to anyone looking to buy or sell real estate in the Vancouver area.
Working with Adam to buy our home was seamless from start to finish. The process was fast, smooth, and he kept us informed at every single step, which as first-time buyers meant a lot to us. Would recommend him to anyone buying in without hesitation.
Caylee Gaylard was our agent and we are so thankful for that. When we first spoke she asked questions, listened to our preferences and then asked more questions to clarify. By the time we went out to see various places it was clear Caylee had not only spent time searching for appropriate spots, but also knew information about each that was very helpful. In all cases she spoke about things we should notice or consider specific to each location. Her comments were not only very helpful, it was clear she had indeed heard us regarding what was important to us. It was a pleasure working with her. Without doubt she is exceptional and someone you want on your team.

Services in this field explained
A valuation estimates the price a property can achieve on the market, based on location, condition, size, fittings and comparable sales.
What does a valuation cost? Many agents offer an initial estimate free of charge. A formal market value report by a certified surveyor is paid; the fee depends on the property and effort.
When you sell, an agent handles valuation, exposé, viewings, negotiation and the notary appointment.
Who pays the agent's commission? When flats and single-family houses are sold to consumers, the commission is generally split between seller and buyer (§ 656c German Civil Code).
When letting, an agent takes care of listing, viewings, tenant selection and the tenancy agreement.
Who pays the agent when letting? Since 2015 the “orderer pays” principle applies to residential lettings: usually the landlord pays when they hired the agent.
