We signed the contract with Inter Immo. I am satisfied overall, I would recommend them but I must be honest. Positive: - we found a super nice place for a good price on todays market - viewing was smooth and without issues - we got selected - Floris was nice and helpful Negative: - the apartment was very dirty when we moved in, we had to clean for hours after getting the keys. I asked in case we hire a cleaner would we get compensated, and the answer was that most likely not - the shower drain was clogged which have been resolved after 15 days - it took 10 days after moving in to receive the signed contract

Should have listened to the people who said we didn't need a makelaar. Out 7k and feel like we got scammed. We worked with Martin. We had a good impression in our introductory meeting. He said he would go to all or 90% of the showings with us (and if he couldn't make a tour, would go view it himself if we wanted to make an offer), would offer tailored offer guidance based on the local market (not generic advise of bid X amount over), we would get early access to new properties, and essentially a hand-holding experience every step of the way. This is what we wanted if we were paying for a makelaar so we signed a contract to work with him. Well, my husband was sent emails with properties (I, for some reason, was never registered to receive them), but none of them were a very good match for what we were looking for or the areas we were most interested in. The real estate agent was also very good in negotiating and always put my priorities on top of his list. I was more than satisfied when my apartment was sold within 2 months! When I had electricity issues with my old apartment after selling, they helped me find a professional electrician to fix the problem within 1 week! The price was also very reasonable. I rented my first apartment in Amsterdam with Inter Immo, and the agent (Inez) has done an great job all the way through the process, from being very nice and kind at the viewing to providing all kinds of support and assistance at the later stages. I would like to point out that if the landlord promises to do some repairs after signing the contract, the Inter Immo employees make sure he or she actually does the work. It's really nice that the company keeps making sure that the customer has a positive experience even after the contract has been singed and the agency has technically done its job. The employees of Inter Immo were very polite at all times, always arrived to the appointments on time and gave me a detailed explanation whenever I had a question.
