Editorial context
Working with a provider in New York – what matters
When choosing a property manager in New York, the first step is to establish whether its experience matches the building’s ownership structure and physical condition. Condominiums, co-ops, and HOAs have different management processes and decision-making arrangements. Since Daisy lists these community types on its website, prospective clients should ask about comparable managed properties and the precise scope of the proposed engagement.
For a provider with a digital focus, an important consideration is what information boards and residents can actually access. Useful points to examine include access permissions, tracking of outstanding requests, availability of financial reports, and data transfer if management changes later. It is equally important to establish who is personally responsible and how urgent matters are handled outside regular service hours. A platform alone does not establish contractually guaranteed response times.
For financial management and budgeting, reporting frequency, approval procedures, reserve planning, and potential additional fees should be discussed in advance. Major projects benefit from a clear allocation of responsibilities among the board, manager, consultants, and contractors.
Daisy’s stated focus on FISP and Local Law 97 also makes deadline tracking, documentation, and project budgets relevant topics. The requirements affecting a particular building should be assessed with appropriately qualified professionals. Before appointment, the service scope, responsibilities, costs, and handover process should be documented in writing. These points provide general guidance, not legal advice.

Daisy took over management of our building about nine months ago, and so far they have done an amazing job. They even developed their own on-site building platform that streamlines maintenance requests, package management, and resident services. We are a 414-unit building, and it is a busy and demanding property, but Daisy has handled the transition and ongoing operations exceptionally well. I've had a great experience working with their compliance team. They have been professional, responsive, organized, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Communication has always been clear, and their response times have been outstanding. Their tech team is also excellent—knowledgeable, efficient, and quick to address any issues. A special thank you to Brenda, Maura, Gidi, Alex, Linoy, Ori, Jackie, Stephanie and, of course, Liron. Their dedication and professionalism have made a no

Whenever we've requested documents or had questions during our buyer's due diligence, they've been quick to respond and have kept us updated when information was still pending. I had a great experience with Daisy Property Management throughout my moving process. Their team was responsive, professional, and friendly from start to finish. Jagjit and Dan were especially helpful, answering all my questions promptly and making the entire process smooth and stress-free. They were always available when I needed assistance and went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled efficiently.
We've had a great experience with Daisy managing our apartment in lower Manhattan! Their digital/modern approach makes things easy and seamless, but they still manage to have the human touch and a "real person" behind the automated messages which is really wonderful in our day and age. Thanks Daisy team.
Great tech savvy management company. When you email them, you get response notifications that they are working on your request, which is so important when dealing with a management company. Their online application is simple and easy to use. And they are very responsive and easy to work with. As a broker, it's been my pleasure to work on deals with Daisy Property Management. Highly recommend.
