Editorial context
Working with a provider in Lisboa – what matters
When choosing an estate agent or property manager in Lisbon, first establish which task you need the provider to perform. Arranging a tenancy is different from managing an occupied property on an ongoing basis. The supplied sources place Bleisured’s emphasis on property and rental management, so expectations associated with a sales or purchasing agent should not automatically be applied.
Owners should define their preferred rental model. Short-, medium- and long-term rentals can involve different requirements for cleaning, handovers, furnishings and continuing support. Since Bleisured lists all three durations, a proposal should clearly set out the services, management fees and any additional charges. Responsibilities for repairs, spending approval limits and the frequency of property reports should also be agreed. For revenue management, useful questions include the assumptions behind projections and how vacancy periods and operating costs are accounted for.
Tenants should check the features of the specific accommodation rather than assume that amenities mentioned in individual reviews apply throughout the portfolio. Workspace provision, internet access, kitchen equipment and noise levels are particularly relevant for longer stays. Rental duration, included services, deposits, utilities and departure arrangements should also be clear before booking.
The scope and responsibility for the website’s advertised legal and contractual support should be clarified directly. These points provide general guidance and do not replace an individual legal assessment.

I had the pleasure of living in the river view apartment in Santos for six months, and I absolutely loved it! The location was perfect, right in one of the best areas of Lisbon, with easy access to everything the city has to offer. The apartment itself was fully equipped with everything I needed, making my stay incredibly comfortable and stress-free. On top of that, the communication with Bleisured was flawless—they were always available and super helpful whenever I needed assistance. This apartment truly made my Lisbon experience even more amazing. I highly recommend Bleisured to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay in Lisbon.
I really enjoyed my stay at Bleisured's apartment in Bica! It had all I needed - from a nice work space to a fully equipped kitchen and a sunny view. I felt very comfortable and am looking forward to my next stay in 3 months in Lisbon!!
My partner and I have stayed in central Lisbon several times, but this was by far the quietest place we've experienced. We were surprised by how peaceful the Bleisured apartment was, considering it’s right in the heart of Lisbon (Bairro Alto to be exact). It didn’t feel touristy at all. The apartment was cosy and stylish, and it had everything we needed for a relaxed stay. All the staff were genuinely welcoming and professional. I especially appreciated how professional Lara from the property management was, she even sent me a check-out reminder a day before, to know if we were planning to have a late checkout or something. Normally, in most places we've stayed, as a guest, you're the one who reaches out. So, as a guest, it's such a small effort in communication that made our stay a wonderful experience. I would recommend Bleisured apartments for remote workers or couples looking for a
Had a great stay at one of the Bleisured apartments in Lisbon. The team were super responsive and helpful. The place was nice and comfortable, in a perfect location and had everything we needed. There were a couple of issues due to extreme storms and the guys got someone round to fix it immediately. We'll definitely use Bleisured again.
Just checked in to the Cabral apartment today, and I have to say I really love it so far. Lots of light, and it’s pretty quiet here although it’s in such a central location. Also, the view is amazing.

Services in this field explained
A valuation estimates the price a property can achieve on the market, based on location, condition, size, fittings and comparable sales.
What does a valuation cost? Many agents offer an initial estimate free of charge. A formal market value report by a certified surveyor is paid; the fee depends on the property and effort.
When you sell, an agent handles valuation, exposé, viewings, negotiation and the notary appointment.
Who pays the agent's commission? When flats and single-family houses are sold to consumers, the commission is generally split between seller and buyer (§ 656c German Civil Code).
When letting, an agent takes care of listing, viewings, tenant selection and the tenancy agreement.
Who pays the agent when letting? Since 2015 the “orderer pays” principle applies to residential lettings: usually the landlord pays when they hired the agent.
