Editorial context
Working with a provider in Milano – what matters
When choosing a real estate agent in Milan, first clarify whether the assignment concerns selling, buying or letting, and ask about experience with the relevant neighbourhood and property type. RE/MAX Valori displays listings in Milan and other municipalities. For a specific assignment, it is therefore useful to establish which office and consultant will be responsible and which local comparable properties will inform the assessment.
The valuation described on the website combines an inspection, comparative data and a written report. Owners should ask how these inputs translate into a proposed asking price. An estimated market value and average selling times provide guidance rather than a guarantee of proceeds or marketing duration. It is also worth establishing which advertised marketing measures will actually be used for the property and how enquiries and viewing feedback will be reported.
Before appointing an agent, clarify fees, possible additional costs, contract duration and any exclusivity arrangements. The supplied website extract does not explain these matters in detail. Buyers and prospective tenants should ask about available property documents, the process for submitting an offer and responsibilities through to handover.
Clients who do not speak Italian should confirm the language of communication in advance. Individual reviews mention translation and communication support, but this does not establish a guaranteed language service. For specialist or legal questions, clarify which independent professionals may need to be involved.

I recently purchased an apartment in Milan with the help of Rosy and Rafaello at Remax Valori. I am an American so my transaction was a bit more complex, but they were so accommodating and helpful through the whole process. Rosy initially showed me the apartment and made sure I had all of the proper information before putting in an offer to the seller. Rafaello was involved to help with the logistics and translations of the sale. They both came to the closing which further showed their dedication. Finally, Rosy helped me to get settled in my new place after with the keys, entry, and electric, which, because English isn't my first language was a Godsend. I would highly recommend working with them!
Beatrice was the best realtor I could have asked for! I don't speak Italian so she made herself available for all my questions, making everything clear every step of the way. Very trustworthy, friendly and straightforward. It made my move to Milan as smooth as possible and for that I am grateful!
Let me share my great experience of renting with Elena Bernasconi from Re/ Max real estate agency. Frankly speaking it’s not easy to rent an apartment in Milano. We’ve tried to do it last 1,5 years but unsecsessfuly. Didn’t like the apartment, the agency had changed their plans at last day. And only with the help Elena Bernasconi we’ve found finally a very good apartment, after full renovation, furnished and for very realistic price. Elena is always in contact, helping with some technical questions🙏🏻 I will strongly recommend this top specialist to all my friends Many thanks again 🙏🏻
Excellent service and a hardworking, professional team that I would highly recommend.

Services in this field explained
A valuation estimates the price a property can achieve on the market, based on location, condition, size, fittings and comparable sales.
What does a valuation cost? Many agents offer an initial estimate free of charge. A formal market value report by a certified surveyor is paid; the fee depends on the property and effort.
When you sell, an agent handles valuation, exposé, viewings, negotiation and the notary appointment.
Who pays the agent's commission? When flats and single-family houses are sold to consumers, the commission is generally split between seller and buyer (§ 656c German Civil Code).
When letting, an agent takes care of listing, viewings, tenant selection and the tenancy agreement.
Who pays the agent when letting? Since 2015 the “orderer pays” principle applies to residential lettings: usually the landlord pays when they hired the agent.
