Editorial context
Working with a provider in Barcelona – what matters
When choosing a real estate agent in Barcelona, the first step is to establish whether its listings match the preferred neighbourhood, property type and transaction. For Punt Poble Sec Real Estate S.L., the sources confirm an office in Poble Sec and several properties for sale in Barcelona, as well as one listing in El Prat de Llobregat. This does not establish a complete or permanent service area. Prospective clients should therefore ask about current properties and assistance in their preferred search area.
For a purchase, it is advisable to agree on the scope of the agency’s work in writing beforehand. This includes arranging viewings, providing property documents, communicating with the owner and offering support through completion. Fees, possible additional costs and responsibilities should also be discussed transparently. For apartments and duplexes, relevant checks include condition, stated floor area and ongoing communal charges. Independent professional assessment may be useful where questions remain.
As the website also includes a rental section, prospective tenants should ask directly about available properties and the precise services offered. Clients who do not speak the local language should establish which languages are available for viewings, documents and contract discussions; the sources do not provide a reliable language list.
Reviews can offer additional insights but cannot replace a direct conversation. Given the selected complaints about advertising, it is also sensible to clarify preferred contact methods and marketing consent. These points provide general guidance, not legal advice.

Selected reviews on Google
The supplied Google data reports a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 682 reviews. In the selection provided, several reviewers praise professional, helpful and responsive service, clear information, and assistance during the apartment search or through contract signing. One reviewer also describes an uncomplicated experience as a non-native speaker. Recurring criticism concerns unsolicited advertising mail despite signs asking for none. One review additionally reports agents entering a residential building without consent and ringing residents’ doorbells. These are reported experiences from a selection of reviews, not a comprehensive assessment of all ratings.
Thanks to Pablo for his services! He helped us a lot giving us all the information we needed. Completely recommend and very professional
Their agents keep on entering our building without consent, and ringing on people's bell when inside the building. Not to mention the constant commercial mail and leaving cards in our door. We have a sign clearly stating we don't want commercial mail. You can't bother people in their own homes. It's invasive, disrespectful. Next time we are calling the police.
I had a great experience working with Isabel. She was very professional, responsive, and supportive throughout the entire process. Isabel helped me find a suitable apartment and guided me through every step, making it easy to close a successful deal and sign the contract with the owner. I truly appreciate her help and highly recommend her services.
Despite a clearly visible sign stating “No advertisements or unsolicited mail,” this business continues to send postal ads to my address. This disregard for basic respect and privacy suggests an aggressive marketing approach with no concern for recipients’ preferences. If this is how they treat non-customers, I can only imagine the experience for actual clients. I expect better from any professional business.
My experience as a non-native speaker using this company was easy and stress free. Special thanks to Maryana and Ivo for their special attention. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Services in this field explained
A valuation estimates the price a property can achieve on the market, based on location, condition, size, fittings and comparable sales.
What does a valuation cost? Many agents offer an initial estimate free of charge. A formal market value report by a certified surveyor is paid; the fee depends on the property and effort.
When you sell, an agent handles valuation, exposé, viewings, negotiation and the notary appointment.
Who pays the agent's commission? When flats and single-family houses are sold to consumers, the commission is generally split between seller and buyer (§ 656c German Civil Code).
When letting, an agent takes care of listing, viewings, tenant selection and the tenancy agreement.
Who pays the agent when letting? Since 2015 the “orderer pays” principle applies to residential lettings: usually the landlord pays when they hired the agent.
