Editorial context

Working with a provider in Firenze – what matters

Anyone seeking to appoint a property developer in Florence should first establish whether they need planning and construction-related development or rental services and ongoing property management. For MMega Homes & Villas, the supplied sources primarily document short-term rentals, temporary lettings and holiday property management. They do not establish responsibility for land development, building design or construction. The scope of services for such a project should therefore be requested through the contact form.

Owners intending to rent out a property should clarify target guests, lengths of stay and the division of responsibilities. For furnished apartments in the historic centre or residential neighbourhoods, relevant issues include equipment, maintenance, cleaning and guest access. Before appointing a manager, owners should ask which tasks are included, how damage and repairs are reported, and which costs are charged separately. Transparent accounting and clearly defined communication arrangements are also useful.

Prospective guests should focus on the individual accommodation. Current photographs, an unambiguous address, information about air conditioning and ventilation, and clear check-in arrangements can support an informed choice. The supplied reviews describe differing experiences with property condition, cleanliness, access and assistance, so the overall rating should not be the only consideration. For villas with pools or properties accommodating larger groups, the equipment actually available and the conditions of use should also be checked before booking. These points provide general guidance rather than an individual professional or legal assessment.

Selected reviews on Google

The supplied Google data records 4.1 out of 5 stars from 168 reviews. The reviews provided are a selection, some available only as excerpts, and do not represent the full range of feedback. Positive comments repeatedly mention property locations and prompt, helpful responses from contacts. One review also highlights cleanliness, spacious accommodation and early check-in. Recurring criticism concerns inadequate cleaning, worn interiors and functional problems, including blocked sinks and difficulties with keys or entrance doors. Individual accounts also mention delayed access, non-functioning air conditioning, pests or a discrepancy between photographs and actual condition. The comments relate to different properties and stays.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed and upset by the condition of the unit. From a cleanliness, functionality, and basic health standpoint, I had significant concerns. My options were limited because I ended up traveling alone at the last minute, but had I known the condition beforehand, I would not have stayed. The one consistently positive part of the experience was Oscar, who was responsive and helpful. The address listed on VRBO is incorrect. Both Google Maps and Apple Maps directed me to a property two streets away. The building’s front door also only unlocks intermittently. On my first night, I was unable to get inside until Oscar responded with advice. The door ultimately opened simply by pushing on it, without using a key. I was only able to unlock it normally once or twice during my four-day stay, which was a significant safety concern. The building itself is very old and p

We stayed at via vacchereccia 7 Florence. The location of this apartment is its biggest advantage. It’s in an excellent area, just a 5-minute walk from Piazza del Duomo and the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, about 2 minutes from the Uffizi Gallery, and around a 14-minute walk to the Accademia Gallery. There are also many great restaurants, cafés, and excellent gelato shops nearby, making it a very convenient base for exploring Florence on foot. Unfortunately, the apartment itself did not meet our expectations. The cleanliness could have been much better, and the bathroom sink was clogged during our stay. The floors were old and heavily scratched, giving the apartment a worn appearance. While it had the basic necessities, it was not particularly comfortable or inviting. The bathroom has no ventilation, and the apartment receives very little natural light. Even during the day it felt

We stayed at Charming View in Florence. Quick walk from the train station.. right next to a market but noise was not a problem. Place was clean and comfortable and spacious. Were able to check in early and drop bags. Concierge met us promptly. We did have a little trouble with the keys/locks but eventually got the hang of it. Hosts were very prompt with replies and offers of help. Would definitely stay again.

WARNING! Do not trust the photos of this apartment- it is old, dirty, and falling apart. (Mona Lisa by Mmega). I have never left a bad review on an apartment/hotel before because I am not a picky person, all that I ask for is a clean and functional space. However, i felt that i am obligated to leave a review for this apartment because I had truly terrible experiences the entire way through. Starting with check-in, we were made to wait outside in the heat with our bags for 35-40 minutes later than was scheduled, because the concierge was late to let us in. Not only that, once we got into the apartment, we were told we had to leave for another 45 minutes because the cleaner was still busy in the room (it was about 5 pm at this point). The apartment itself is very run down. Do not be fooled by the photos they use to advertise the place, the photos we saw of it when we booked are likely v

We stayed in a property managed by Operations Mmega Homes and Villas in Via dei Lamberti in Florence, from July 14–16, 2026, and unfortunately it was one of the worst accommodation experiences we’ve had. From the moment we arrived, we found several serious issues. There were cockroaches in the bathroom, the advertised air conditioning did not work so two portable fans were provided, making it very difficult to sleep. We also found fingernail clippings on one of the beds, which made us question the cleanliness of the apartment. The bathroom sink was clogged, and the refrigerator was in poor condition. It was completely iced over and eventually leaked water across the parquet floor and into one of the bedrooms. The leak became so bad that a maintenance technician had to come after the neighbor downstairs reported water coming through their ceiling. We reported all of these problems as so
