Editorial context
Working with a provider in Boston – what matters
When appointing a project developer in Boston, it is important to distinguish property brokerage from responsibility for developing a project. Finding a site, commercial premises, or a buyer is not the same as managing planning, approvals, financing, and construction. For Amo Realty – Boston City Properties, the supplied sources primarily substantiate brokerage services and commercial tenant representation. Any broader role as a project developer should therefore be clarified before an appointment is made.
For a specific project, a written scope should identify which tasks the provider performs, which require external specialists, and who coordinates the parties involved. Fees, timelines, reporting arrangements, and potential conflicts of interest should also be discussed. References should match the property type and services required; apartment rental experience does not substitute for evidence of completed development projects.
For office, retail, restaurant, or industrial premises, relevant checks include intended use, technical requirements, fit-out possibilities, and location suitability. Off-market opportunities also require reliable property documentation and transparent financial assumptions. Assessments involving approvals, building condition, and financing should be coordinated with appropriately qualified specialists.
Google reviews may provide supplementary information about client service. However, the selection supplied here concerns apartment rentals and cannot establish development, construction, or investment capabilities. This guidance is not a substitute for legal or technical assessment.

In 15 years of renting, I have never had a broker half as good as Courtney Wood. She was extraordinarily transparent and communicative, and we always felt like we had all the relevant information as soon as it became available (24/7 communication!). We faced a difficult move because of a family emergency and pet restrictions, but Courtney advocated for us non-stop until we found we the perfect apartment. She was truly invested in us finding a good home and had our backs throughout the process. By the end of our journey it felt like she was our friend as well as our broker. I cannot recommend Courtney Wood highly enough. Thank you for everything, Courtney!
I have been working with Courtney W. throughout the Boston, MA lease process, and I could not speak more highly of my experience. Courtney is honest, reliable, and puts her clients first. She was able to help my partner and me find our perfect apartment that checks all of our boxes. I highly recommend working with Courtney to find your perfect home in Boston!
Courtney has been an absolute gem of a real estate agent! As newcomers to Boston, we were nervous about finding the perfect apartment. However, Courtney quickly alleviated our concerns. From the start, Courtney listened to our needs and preferences, providing invaluable guidance on the Boston market. Within just a few weeks, she found us our dream apartment! Throughout the process, Courtney was always responsive and supportive, addressing any questions or concerns we had. Her professionalism, knowledge, and unwavering support have made our relocation to Boston a seamless and exciting process. We couldn't recommend her more!
I had the immense pleasure of working with Courtney Wood. I reached out to her several months in advance for a September 1 move in date. She continuously checked in with me in the months leading up to signing my lease and continuously advocated for me throughout the process. She responded quickly, and gave great advice on the rental market. Without her help, I would not have been able to secure an apartment I was happy with. I can not recommend her enough!
Courtney Wood is without a doubt the best person I could have asked for when trying to find an apartment (on very short notice) in Boston. Courtney was incredibly diligent, patient, and accommodating for what can be a very stressful process given the craziness of Boston's current market. I rarely write reviews but this was truly an exception. After setting me up with a list of virtually every available place in Boston given my search parameters, Courtney quickly contacted and coordinated with all of the different management companies/individuals to schedule a showing on the one day I was able to visit from out-of-state. This would have been impossible to do on my own. On the day of the visit, Courtney made sure everything went smoothly and according to schedule. She helped me ask the right questions and listened carefully to my preferences. She even scheduled two additional visits to ap
